To help increase engagement and improve the flow of information between residents and the UTCC an initiative called the Community SHOUT was conceived. Its primary aims are:
To provide anonymous feedback to the UTCC through online polling of residents about issues that affect the community.
Increase awareness about what's happening in the community and current topics of discussion at the council meeting.
Share information on groups, events, funding opportunities, planning, and community asset.
Encourage engagement from residents to facilitate insightful discussion around matters that affect the community.
Act as a central repository for information relevant to the residents of Upper Tweed.

Residents can sign up for the Community SHOUT. They will receive a monthly newsletter via email that provides an overview of community developments. They will also receive a link to an anonymous online poll that enables them to voice their opinion on matters and have their views presented at the monthly community council meetings.

If you have an event, group or idea that you would like to see in the SHOUT, or have information that you would like to share or a question you would like to ask the community, please contact Simon via shout.utcc@gmail.com
