Council Members
​​The Upper Tweed Community Council consists of elected members together with co-opted members. The UTCC is, like other Community Councils in Scotland a voluntary organisation made up of local residents who give up their time and have an interest in the well-being of their community. The roles of council members are explained more fully here. All council members have to abide by a code of conduct.
Elections of new members takes place in April and the results are announced at the AGM in May. Council members have to fulfil certain responsibilities
